I have had several calls from people who rave about my candles and wondering if I can send them a copy of my scent list or I suggest that I can send them a listing by e-mail. For the life of me I can't figure out why they are requesting a scent list because I never hear from them again. At Christmas time I received such a call and after a week or so I called her and she said that she was just too busy to deal with candles. Some I have e-mail again, asking if they received the scent list and I don't even get a response from them. What do some of you think? What could they possibly do with just a scent list? I'm totally confused.

Thanks for reading.

Maybe they have found how to make the candles on the net and wanted to know what kind of scents you carry so that they can try to duplicate your business.

Marty, I hope this doesn't sound rude or insensitive. But I have found that many customers are genuinely enthusiastic about a product, but are too busy and/or too lazy to make an effort to come get it. Know what I mean? Only a few dedicated diehards will get off their bums and place an order. LOL It may take a while -- be patient. I'll bet some of them get back to you. But for most folks, it's a matter of convenience. Take the product to them (shows, markets, website) and they're all over it. But many times they won't make an effort to make a special trip anywhere to get something, even something they really like! :)

That's true! I am always delivering products to people, they dont want to come get them.

1 out of 5 people will call to place an order after they have checked out a brochure.

Some will look at the brochure right then and there and place their order. Most will ask me to either drop it off or ship it to them.

Hopefully someday I will have the website going and they will be able to order that way.

People like websites....I know I do...

Maybe they were thinking of getting someone a present for a birthday or Mother's Day or something and the time hasn't come yet...but when they need a present, they'll think of you.
