Scented Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Just got 'er done. She's went to bed mighty ugly IMO. May I just say, I don't know what she's going to look like. I'm expecting a blob. And I did learn a couple o' new things ... when you can't find your measuring spoons to measure out micas, oxides or powder form color, don't use your fingers, especially if you are dipping into black. :rolleyes2 Don't think I should say what the other was. Quote
Bunny Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Well.. It's interesting that's for sure! Sorry about the black finger! LOL!You just may be totally surprised when you cut it! Quote
Kaybee23 Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Yep, usually it is a pleasant surprise when you cut it. I bet they will be beautiful bars. Quote
candlemakingkid Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Hey, I am thinking nice looking soap. Love the dark plum look. What did you scent it with?Chris Quote
Scented Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 Funny thing is I didn't use any purplish color lol. Just some kind of pink aussie clay stuff (wasn't very pink IMO), some bronze and well it all looked the same so I dashed in some black (won't be doing that again lol!)Scented Amber Romance. Quote
Sherie Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Girl, that is a sultry, sexy looking soap. I agree, it's gotta plum effect to it. But, what do you expect when you hit bronze with black and I'm not sure what else you used. Now, WTH are those white dots? Quote
Scented Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 The white is the flash lol. THere are no white dots in that soap that I see (and I keep looking). Quote

cindym Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I have learned that some of the soaps that I put in the mold and say crap, have been the best looking soaps when finished also never go by the color until it has gelled and cooled, it never looks the same. I think it will be great. what scent is it? Quote
Scented Posted May 2, 2006 Author Posted May 2, 2006 Well I'm wondering if it will ever stop gelling lol. It looks like chocolate brown (poop) and feels like squishy. Yea I poked. I think it's going to be ugly. Very ugly. Quote
