bella soy
I use Eco 8 wicks in my 8 oz. mason jars. every single one that I have burned tunnels. As soon as I light it it curles over. I burn the candle for 4 hours and when its done there is not enough wick there to trim for the next burn!Whats causing this problem?
greenleaf
Sounds like you need to move up to an ECO-10 and try that.HTH
Pam W
I would think it's too big if it's tunneling
Candle Makin Momma
Is this a square mason or a regular jelly jar type mason? An Eco is a self trimming wick, so it will curl over once it starts burning and it sometimes looks like it's going to burn crooked, but if it's the right wick for your jar, it catches up.Are you trimming it too short? I trim mine between 1/4-1/2 in and I always have enough to trim for the next burn
bella soy
I did not know that the ECO 's were self triming. I trim to 1/4" but I can guarentee you that I cant trim on the next burn I only have maybe a 1/8" of wick left after the first burn. and yes they are square mason jars
Scent Cellar
I use the ECO 8 in the square mason jars. I just pick a bit of the wick off with my fingers before lighting each time.
