creativecandles
I have been testing this one, and am not getting a great throw from it. Anyone else use this oil? I really like it and am hoping to get it to work for me. I poured at 8% in ky125 soy.
AngelaVA
I had a great throw in J50 at 3%, but maybe this one just doesn't do well in soy. Maybe try using less FO and see if it throws better.
guppygirl
OMGosh, you don't need to use nearly that much of WYWs FOs in soy. I tested that one ages ago at 5% and it was superstrong. Sometimes more FO is not better & = no throw. Try cutting back and if that doesn't work, possibly play with wicking. If that doesn't work, could just be your soy as they're not all created equal.HTH! Jordan
I know everyone says you can use less with these oils, but I have tried a coulple of them at the lower % and don't get a strong throw either. Even our testers complain about the scent throw if I try to pour at 3-5%,but then say it is better poured at 7-8%. I have tested so far-- Biscotti, Snowberry, & Pineapple Mangosteen, .....I use JS soy, and I get an awesome throw from pretty much any scent from any company in this wax with no curing, so this stumped me. Although....I have been testing new wicks---maybe that is why. I normally use CD wicks in my soy....a thought.....
