Grumpy Girl
Sooo... remember the alien soap? http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17263It turned chocolate brown, and still had the bright neon green tops after curing forever. I just shreded it in the food processor, and I was wondering what to do with brown shredded soap. Any suggestions?
maryann
How about a gardener's soap :undecided ??
singleyellowrose
Roll the shreds into balls and make planet soap. You may have to add a bit of water or milk, depending on how dry they are. But if they stick together pretty well, you shouldn't have to.Once they are rolled, put them in your log mold and pour raw soap..whatever color you want over the top.Make sure it is at about medium trace when you do so, so that they stay some what suspended. Grumpy Girl
Thanks ladies for both suggestions. I'm doing both, I have one batch of gardeners soap gelling in the oven now, and I have a tray of soap balls drying for planet soap, but the soap balls are cranberry colored, I wasn't sure how brown would look... I may try it.
