Jeana
I want to make a few perfumes for myself. Heaven knows I have enough FO and EO to make many cool scents. I was wondering what the best base is for perfumes. I see some people use perfumers alcohol - how is this different from regular? Some use natural oils - jojoba, sao ..... And others use witch hazel. I like the idea of the oil but that means I can't get any on my clothes. Plus I have so many oils and butters I make already.I would love to hear what base you guys prefer and why. Thanks:)
sawyer's moon
I personally don't care for the ones made with perfumers alcohol...I always smell the alcohol (even though its supposed to evaporate away).I like cyclo with some FCO when doing fos and jojoba when doing eos (don't know why other than trying to keep it more natural with the eos).HTH! Smacky
What Jen said above, and then depending on how I want to package,or the specific end product, the AquaEm or Caprol Micro Express is another alternative.

Jeana
Thanks, those look really interesting. And they are both natural products, according to the discriptions.
