dcroome2005
I love this recipe, but is this a known greasy recipe? I want to say yes, then I want to say no. For some reason, with the LLC , it came out a lot greasier. Even more greasier then the Strawberries and Cream.. Just wondering if this is normal or not on certain oils or if its the recipe? hmmmThanks Kimberly for the recipe- I love itChristina
mystical_angel1219
This recipe should not come out greasy. It should sink into the skin nicely. Are you using any substitutes? Some oils are heavier than others. If you changed out any of the ingredients it will affect the texture. How long are you whipping this for? dcroome2005
Hey , Thanks for answering me. I am using the jojoba oil . Whipping for about 20 mins but its hand beater.. I need to go a KitchinaideThanksChristina
Kimberly
CHristinaI have never used Jojoba oil in this. I would try a lighter oil. When I make it it doesnt come out greasy...I think it is your choice of oils.

sueb50
Does this receipe hold up once it its put in jars? Will it stay fluffy?
dcroome2005
The LLC did.. The Strawberries N Cream didn't. I cut the cocoa butter down for the LLC. Don't know if that made the difference or notChristina

Don't know if that made the difference or notChristinaI dont know of you did this or not...but it is possible to over whip! If you do that it will fall once you package it. Also, I dont use cocoa butter...I would think that it would make the batch too hard once it set up.
