Molding Problem

Recommended Posts

I wasn't sure how else to word this. I'm using Palm and heating to 200. I have been having to let it cool to about 140 to pour. If I pour any hotter it melts the putty and runs out the bottom. What is the best way to plug the holes to where I can pour at a hotter temp and it won't spring a leak?

When I was doing palm pillars, I had the same problem. Pouring at high temps would bust through the metal tape alot of the time. I started using plummers putty AND the metal tape and never had another leak after that.
