ladysj Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 I wasn't sure how else to word this. I'm using Palm and heating to 200. I have been having to let it cool to about 140 to pour. If I pour any hotter it melts the putty and runs out the bottom. What is the best way to plug the holes to where I can pour at a hotter temp and it won't spring a leak? Fern Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 When I was doing palm pillars, I had the same problem. Pouring at high temps would bust through the metal tape alot of the time.
