KristinesShower
I have been thinking and thinking about pouring special bakery scents in country style jars lately to carry in my shop. Although my shop is very hip and colorful, I still have alot of the country clientele and seem to be losing them when I know I could get them.I saw a jar the other day that I did like that was a mason style jar, but it was too big and looked kinda awkward. I guess I want a nice country style look, but want something that is totally different from what I have now. I actually have enough room in my shop to make a whole corner a country thing and may just do that too.Any suggestions or pictures I can look at? I would like to try and get them locally if possible (I am in LaSalle, Illinois).I would like to stay away from the canning jars if possible - everyone has those and I am looking for something a little different. Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it. :highfive:
chiptooth
what about a cracker barrel type jar? I think www.candlesandsupplies.com has them in different sizes and I'm not sure where else I've seen them. I was thinking about them myself. KristinesShower
They would be too far from me, but I have been looking at the small squatty mason jars with rusted lids for awhile. Those are really cute - anyone have a midwestern source for those?
Scent Cellar
BCN has 8 ounce square mason jars.
Bev
I, too, was going to suggest the 8 oz. square masons. There are a variety of lids you can purchase for them. The rustics look very country, especially with a little homespun tied around the rim of the jar.
KristinesShower
Just ordered them today - thanks so much, I think these will really work after I hang tag and country decorate them to death lol(please, no offense to the country people - I live in a cornfield, I feel ya')
