GerberDaisyCrazy
Hello, everyone, I am a long time lurker, first-time poster. My question is I want to do a show, but when I called for information I was told there are already 3 other chandles, in 70 vendors. I make gel candlers, should I do this show or no?****T.I.A.****
Guest EMercier
I would ask if there is someone there doing gel candles specifically. I've gotten that and the other person was doing straight pillars. I have a few shows now where I'm the only candle person. If there is no one else doing gel then I would give it a chance. That's only in my opinion. I've been at shows with two other chandle people and we all had different stuff and we all sold differently, it's a matter of taste. CathyinME
I too would also do it if no one else has gels. CAthy
sudsnwicks
The organizer may not understand the difference, nor might he have bothered to check exactly what type of candles those 3 people make. In which case you could explain that your candles are "unusual and not the regular type" (this is what might be layman's terms for gel candles, LOL). If you manage to get in, try to get them to seat you not next to any of the other 3.
