scrubzz Posted February 25, 2006 Share Posted February 25, 2006 Go to your state government website!I see you are in Georgia so I went to http://www.georgia.gov and browsed aroundI clicked the link for Tourism, Recreation & the ArtsFrom there I found a link for "Things to Do" which said it was for "Amusements, attractions, fairs, museums, parks and more" so I checked it outIn the links on that page I saw a link called "Georgia Tourism Events Calendar" so checked it outThis pulled up a search engine which let's you search for events and you can even narrow it down by city or zip code, date and keywords if you wish - I typed in Festival and let it search and came up with a ton of events listed by date - most have contact phone numbers and a lot of info on the event for you.Just about every state government website has something similar - Your state's Dept. of Tourism is set up to promote events and are there for you for free Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
