mappam
I want to see what others have found to be Strong Throwers in 100% Soy container candles.I have tested lots and lots of different FO's and this is my list of "Keepers" so far:Candle Cacoon = Sultry Angel KY Candle = Blackberry Sage, Christmas Past, Vineyard Bluegrass = Smell Stopper, Lavender/Apple/Oak, Blackberry Sage, Spiked EggNogWSP = Clean Laundry, Bergomot MandrinSoS = Honey Dew MelonJust Scent = Mojito CocktailI pour most at 6% as a start point and adjust as needed - all of the above are Fantastic at the 6%. Holly
Good thread. Here are some of mine: (I use Calsoy CB-3 with RRD's and Hemps) (most used at 8% and some at 9% and 6% - 7% -- some of the 8 and 9's could most likely be lowered one percent. Also, there are some above that I have not completely decided on. The throw is great with all the above, but there are some that I may not keep/add to my list. I have a lot more that I am still testing that throw good but just not sure on and have some that I am not sure on the throw because of candlenose. I just poured 24 testers in the last two days -- looking for some good fresh spring and summer scents. (from Candle Cocoon, Nature's Garden, KY, A Scent Shop, Bittercreek North and South, and Fragrance Oil Haven and some others from some places above). I will post the good ones when I test them. I will add more if I remember them.

Candle Man
Also to note not all Soy wax is created equal. These scents listed may have worked in the kind or brand of Soy that person is using. They may or may not work in a brand of Soy you use.

Lightning Bug
I know this to be true, but why? If it is all 100% soy I can't see why it would change. I can see if other oils are added, that might change the throw. But it seems soy should be soy. Any answers? Beth

I can see if other oils are added, that might change the throw. But it seems soy should be soy. Any answers? BethSoy is organic and each harvest would be different. Different brands are either different from the area grown or the way it is processed. Even if you use only one brand all the time, when you re-order, it can be different because it is a natural grown product. So you always need to test at random when you get in new shipments of wax.edited for spelling
