Loaf Pan?

Try using a small bread loaf pan as a mold. Make soap as usual, remove from loaf mold, and slice with a knife or chopping blade into slices about 1 to 1.5 inch thick.

That is what it says in directions from BCN but I thought I read somewhere to line it with something..

Yep, I never line any of my loaf/log molds. BUT, I make sure that they have a little "give" to them so that I can push the soap out. ;)

That's why I mostly use the plastic drawer organizers for the M&P soap logs/loafs, so I can pull the sides out slightly and push on the bottom slightly to get the soap out.

I want a wavy cutter sooooooo bad!!! :D

I got a wavy cutter and a regular straight cutter. Just poured my first loaf one so we will see how it goes LOL Tomorrow, I will try a layered and chunk one maybe.. About to already run out of soap base again LOL geesh.. All these samples are making my soap base run out.. But hey, I am hooked and loving it. Why is it that I can make about 20 different soaps to the time it takes me to do everything I need to do to make 1 votive?? lmfao

Loaf pans are cheaper at the grocery or at Walmart. I found a really cute 1.5 lb stainless steel loaf pan at The Kitchen Collection in Shreveport for next to nothing that I really like for test batches. I also love my target drawer organizer for MP. I do have to line it though, but that takes all of about 5 minutes.
