warriorfaery
is there a special type of wax used for these or just regular pillar wax? do most of you recommend using color blocks chips or liquid dyes?thanks for your input
candlesprite7
I'm sure pillar wax would be fine, you are just embedding a small treasure and as they burnt he candle it will uncover right?? I like dye chips but a lot of others on here prefer liquid dye...it's really up to what you prefer.

diamondgirl_26
I prefer color chips. Less mess. Are you making them pyramid treasure candles? The question you probably should be asking is what wick to use. Thats the hardest part.
candlesprite7
Diamondgirl has a good point. I like to make regular pillars, so wicking isnt an issue. Pyramids are a different story...

candlesprite7
I doubt it but try it, I think it will depend on how many you plan to stick in there.
