lbtddr Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 i have only used recipes that i have been able to find.would like to use the oils i wont. but not sure how to use the calculators for liquid soap.does any one no of a site that tells how to make your own recipes for liquid.i am afraid to change the oils to much with out running it through one. for the right amount of lye. Teercreations Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 most liquid soaps are made with percentages of Sodium Hydroxide and Potassium Hydroxide or just Potassium Hydroxide. At least the liquid soaps I make. I know Catherine Failor has a book about liquid soapmaking.
