Mr. G
Three questions for you..please... 1- What do you find to be the best wick, not size, but type for 100% soy? 2- What additives would you suggest? 3- What is the largest MP with one wick that you can achieve ? Thanks, Mr G
daniedb
1. I think you'll find it boils down to opinion and personal experience. I like CDs and HTPs, but heard great things about ECOs in soy.2. Beeswax, if anything.3. I'm going to guess ~3 inches. You're Welcome,Mrs D
iammommytwo
1. I agree about the opinion and such. I have used mostly the RRD's, but they seem to mushroom a bit too much at times. I like the LX, but have only tried them in my smaller candles so far. I have some samples coming that sre supposed to be designed specifically for Soy.2. I suppose Beeswax would be the most natural, but I don't use anything at all. I'd like to keep it that way if possible.3. I'd say about 3 - 3 & 1/
momscandles
I use the HTP wicks for my soy candles and they work fine. And as far as what to add to soy, nothing. There is no need to add anything to soy, so don't waste your money.
Kaybee23
I like the HTP wicks for my soy. I also like the beeswax and the benefits it adds to my soy candles. I agree, about 3" is about as big as a MP I have ever gotten in soy with a single wick.
