CDGM
I am a long long way off from even thinking about selling but I am trying to cover all my bases early (and as I think of new questions!).I have ordered some basic supplies such as lotion base and shower gel base and sample fragrances (skin safe) so next week I will be able to start creating and playing. :whoohoo: My question is this... how much insurance do most people carry to cover any problems/issues that might arise and what do I tell my agent I am needing? <I know this sounds like putting the cart before the horse but I dont want to forget to cover all angles!>Any and all help is greatly appreciated!! Linnyeg
i'm pretty sure $1 million liability is the most common.

valleygrls98
I think 1 million is common but I am having a heck of a time finding a reasonable policy the one I found that was reasonably priced you can only sell $5,000 worth of product. That's not to much when you think about it !!
RobinInOR
Two kinds of insurance, general liability - protecting your stock, protecting from someone hurting themselves on your property/craft tent/store/whatever, and product liability - protecting you from customers that want to sue you over your products. That's the hard one to get - good luck!
