candlesprite7
OK so I had a little bottle of semi-precious gem chips that I had gotten somewhere long ago, they were just gathering dust so I decided to play with them in a candle. I put them in the mold 3x3.5". There was just enough for a ring. Then I scented the wax with Hawaiian Lei (My favorite FO). After the candle was cooled the gems were a bit covered up so I hit it with my heat gun, the drips went down the sides, which I still thought looked cool.Looks pretty, smells great! Jojo T.
Hi Kim, My first reaction when I saw it was that it looks good enough to eat - I'm always thinking of food. It reminded me of an iced cake. I love it and think you did a great job.
candlesprite7
Thanks...I guess it does kinda look like an iced cake...cool. Looks cooler in person since you can really see the chips.

diamondgirl_26
I like it. What does Hawaiian Lei smell like? I love tropical type scents.
candlesprite7
Hawaiian Lei has the flowers of the islands. A lot of the island scents I have tried have fruit, but this one is all florals. My absolute Favorite.my head is too foggy (i have a cold) right now to think of the flowers but Plumeria is one...and tuberose maybe?
