MLJ
Love those jars, and looks like you've gotten some great ideas for how to label yours. I'm wondering do these only come in the 2 sizes I saw at the Jar Store? (8 & 12oz)I'd like to use these also, but I would like to have a smaller jar (like maybe 4-6oz) for those people who are looking for something less expensive (you know those "cheap" peeps?? LOL).I've looked but the only places I've seen have the 8 and 12 oz. sizes and that's it. Sorry to hijack your post.Michi check this out:http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Product.aspx?Tab=4&CatalogID=9&GroupID=587&CatalogTitle=0&CategoryID=1383&CategoryName=++Surplus+%26+Limited+EditionsIt is a 6 ounce frosted jar with a lid.Mary Lou
The_Dallas_Texas_Dean
I am researching the options now, and will post when I come up with something that looks good. There are some small metal "insignias" that can be used for connecting ribbon....I just have to remember where I found them:rolleyes2 There are several places that will custom print the ribbon :http://www.ribbonprinters.com/?source=A&OVRAW=custom%20printed%20ribbon&OVKEY=custom%20printed%20ribbon&OVMTC=standardhttp://www.namemaker.com/Products/printed-ribbon/http://www.namemaker.com/In everyone's opinion ( not to highjack)...does everyone think that wet spots show up more on frosted or clear jars? Honestly..I do not think I have seen many clear OR white frosted candle jars without wet spots. I was just wondering which ones seem to show up more?? Suzanne
I've been keeping my eyes open for these jars too. I really like them. I did go ahead and order a case from fancycandlejars for testing. I went with the frosted ones. Of the few places I found I think that place was the cheapest. Aside from testing, I'm also wondering about labels. I'll be curious to see what people come up with. And it sounds like some of had pretty good luck wicking these things. I think the first wax I'll test in them is the sample we got from green leaf. Then i'll probably test Joy wax, which has been may latest usual.I can't wait to get them and start testing.
AngelaVA
I do think that the wetspots are a little more noticable on the frosted jars, but I don't really worry about that anymore. I have never seen anyone notice them (well, anyone who's not a chandler, lol).
