lindsaycb
Does anyone use 1343 for their pillars? I swear for the life of me, I can't get a good cold throw on these puppies. Is there a pillar wax out there that you'd recommend for rustics that can give off a good cold throw?I stick with the 3tbsp stearic pp. I toss in some vybar for good measure, but but but.... Linnyeg
How much fo did you use? Personally my pillars do have hot throw, but not as much as my container candles do.

So choose them for some reason other than good measure.
RobinInOR
I use 1343 for my 2" pillars, and they have a pretty strong cold throw. Can smell them when I walk by. I don't use any additives at all and use .5-.6 oz FO per pound. Course I use stronger scents that work at that amount - lavender, cranberry, rose, evergreen... lindsaycb
Maybe if I actually stop melting wax in this house, I could actually smell a candle too. My hot throw is great...just not much in the cold throw.
Donita
Mine all smell great until I smell about 6.....then I can't tell the difference (unless it is cinnamon)......I have to go outside and then try again. I don't always remember to keep track of my scents and the candles get mixed up. I have a board to write on but it gets full quickly. Have someone else smell you candles. Honestly.....we sold some 3 year old candles at Christmas that people loved. I couldn't smell anything. Donita

Candle Man
Last week I made a custom Floral centerpiece with a 3x6 and Bird of Paradise scent. The customer loved it and said it smelled up her entire large living room (cold throw) she would not light it.Here's a pic
Scented
No probs here either and I'm a 1343 user. Typically I stick with one additive or the other, depending on what I want to do.
