ebarnes
Can too much FO drown a wick? My wicks are starting to curl over into the melt pool. I think this is b/c I don't always trim before I burn or could it be b/c I have too much FO (1oz PP/Peaks). I use two HTP83, EL Soy Mil.... Scented
You're soy so I can't help you. Maybe direct the ? towards some soy users through PM or try again in another section
OutlandishLady
A lot can cause wicks to drown. Too much FO, too much color, etc. Always trim your wick to 1/4" before lighting. Also you said you are using two 83's, what is the diameter of your container? All the HTP wicks I've used curl to a slight degree but if they're drowning that's a different story. I use the same wax for my soy customers so I have a bit of experience with it, though I usually pour a parasoy blend. HTH!
