JustJackie
I was wondering if you color your lotions, bath, etc... I can see the reasons to both yes and no for this. Just wondering what you all do!(have I asked enough questions today?)

Scented
OK can I add to your question? If you don't color them then why not? I would just think that white and cream get boring to look at ... this is just me!

Marilyna
I do color mine. My bottles are clear, so it looks really pretty and I think it makes them sell more.Marilyna
singleyellowrose
Nope! Don't color my lotions or creams. One less ingredient to worry about and more space on my label. For my scrubs depending on which one it is.. either has color from the coffee grounds or a few jojoba beads. My scrub jars are bigger so I have more label room!
soapermom
I color soaps, bath salts, I don't color lip balms, lotions or body butters usually, unless there is an ingrediant that tints it naturally...I have colorful packaging so its all good. daniedb
Nope. My company philosophy is simple and pure. Anything unnecessary, I leave out. That can get subjective, of course, but artificial colors are, for my target market, a pretty clear cut example of an unnecessary ingredient. I use color on my labels to set apart the different fragrances.
lindsaycb
I don't color either. One, I don't have the patience to be consistent with little drops. Two, its too difficult to match the color to every other product...being a candle or other. Three, I create the label with transparent color, so the product shows through it but with some color to draw you to it.I want clean & simple looking.I think one thing that will be colored though is bath bombs & bubble bars though. That's just basically a must in my mind. Clean still needs to be fun.
RobinInOR
I only color bath bombs - I just changed from white to color. It goes with my look better, is more eye catching, and actually cut down on packaging cost.Anything else - balms, lotions, butters, I leave natural colored..
