Sweet Smellies
Hi there,I am quite new to candle making and brand new here, I am so happy I found this place you guys are full of info and ideas. Anyway I have a local gift shop interested in stocking my candles, but I have no idea where to begin with a wholesale contract. I was hoping you guys could give me some tips on what to include.TIANicki
sharyl55
Nicki, I don't want to rain on your parade but if you are quite new to candle making are you sure you are ready for wholesale orders. Just remember you have to thoroughly test all combinations of wax, FO, dye and containers.
Sweet Smellies
I should have explained myself better, I'm new to selling my candles. I have been testing the combinations the shop is interested in for the past six months and have been giving them to friends and family as well. Still newish to candle making I know, but I am confident with what I have tested so far. The store is in a rural community with a steady trade as it is the only one in the area, but I think I will be able to keep up with the combinations I have at the moment and slowly introduce more. But as I said in my original post I have know idea about the wholesale nitty gritty.Nicki
sharyl55
Go to Search at the top of this page. Select Advanced Search, type in wholesale contract and select Business Side of Things. You should get several threads on wholesale contracts. Good Luck.
