Coke candle

This is the first time I have tried making gel candles. Been making container candles for quite a while now. I really miss not having all the past data here and I need to know how to make the fizz on the top of the coke candle. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I use 50/50 gel/paraffin and whip it with a wire wisk for foam in my beer candles.

you will get lots of bubbles too. That will make the Coke look real. I chop my clear gel up into cubes and add them to the top while the gel is still warm, so they sink a little. This looks like a bubbly soda with ice cubes on top. You may or may not want the foam on a soda like you would have on a beer candle. Soapymomma

Soapy - do you scent your ice cubes? I tried Strawberry & Champagne tonight with limited success. Maybe they'll look better in the morning. LOL Have a sample of Tequila Sunrise to try next and thought that should have ice cubes.

I make mke cokes closer to the way Soapy does. I don't scent my cubes. I do a little differant, I pour my gel in to the glass 3/4 way full. I let it cool a bit then add the cubes. Then I dribble gel over the cubes.

We just do like Vicky and dribble the scented cola gel over and around them, so the scent is there. The coke candles do really well for us. I wish there was a realiable source for Pepsi glasses. I guess there can be a problem with selling tradmarked glasses, but we have not had any. Soapymomma
