poohbaby
Hi all, just curious as to what your best selling containers are? Do you sell more of the smaller candles (8 oz) or the larger size? Mainly for craft shows, do you sell more smaller items than large?
htaylorrn
I'm just starting out, but all I sell is 8 oz tins or 9 oz hex. My customer base likes to buy more candles than to buy bigger candles. They'd rather buy cheaper (smaller size) more often. Does that make sense?I'd consider doing larger, but would have to be a special item. I don't do craft shows.~Heather~

Jordan
for us it is a tie between the 8 oz square mason and the 16 oz double wicked apothecaryLast year it was the 9 oz. hex.
sudsnwicks
8 oz jelly jar for me. I wouldn't be able to move the larger sizes as I live in a lower income, rural area.

poohbaby
Thanks for the replys. I currently sell the 9 oz & 18 oz cracker jars, but they arent doing as well as I'd hoped. They are a rather costly jar so I think I will go back to my 8 oz jj or the square mason. Thanks for the input!
darlatoms
Hi it's me I sell the 4oz jelly jar thr most I blow them out. I sell them for 4.00 or 3 for $11.00 Them I have the 8oz square mason but it's the 4oz.
mystical_angel1219
My best seller much to my dismay is the 9 oz hex. I dont really love these jars, but they pay the bills and then some. I am currently working on a signature line with 14 oz tumblers and fancy packaging and some more upscale fragrances that I have been creating. I might add status jars as well, but I haven't had alot of time to test these jars. Hopefully I can lure some of my base business into this line and have them on my website when its fully finalized. Unfortunately my wholesale accounts will probably stick with hex jars and my 3 oz filled votive counter displays. I can't complain~ they pay for 95% of my supplies. jenniejr
My biggest sellers are the 8oz and 12oz JJ. I sell quite a few of the 16oz Mason, but not as much as the other 2. I have a few customers that request the larger (20oz+) jars, but I only make them as requested.
lindsaycb
This year it was triple wicked seamless tins...16oz size. I sold them for $8 or 2/$15. Then my 24oz cracker jars. In the past it was jj, but I changed my line.Apothecary jars have just never done well for me at all.
ebcandles
10oz Balmorals. They fly off the shelves. I cant "give away" anything larger than that.

BACKWOODS
Mostly (like everyone else it seems) 9 oz Hex and 8 oz Square Masons.
poohbaby
well, I took the plunge and bought some 8oz square masons. I really like the look of them and hope my customers will too.
