Which address do you use??

I was wondering which address ya'all use for your business.

Do you use your home address, because that is where it you make your candles, or do you use a P.O. box address?

I'm asking because I'm going to go through this soon and just wanted to know what you do.

For the business, I have a PO BOX and use that on the website.

When I place orders with suppliers or buy from here, I use my home address.

Me too. On all my biz correspondence, I use PO Box, it's only for biz since we get our personal mail at home.

I will use my home address BUT my husband is not happy.We have to do that for all supplies we get.We cannot use our PO box.So guess that is what to do.Mostly what I see on websites.

I currently use my home address for everything, but was thinking about getting a PO box. I don't have a real need for one yet though and can't justify the cost (even though it is small). And honestly, I know I won't get to the post office as often as I should to keep checking it. It's much easier to walk to the mailbox.

It helps that our PO is on the way to school, so it's easy to stop when needed.

I'm just more comfortable not having my home addy listed on my products. My PO box is on everything, but I have all my supplies/deliveries made to my home addy.

Just got a PO Box for my business mail. Like everyone else, use home address for deliveries.

I live in an apartment right now, so I just use that address. But once we buy a house, I will be getting a PO box.

I use my BF's address on anything but package deliveries lol!

When I first started selling candles I used home address on everything but changed that real fast after two guys came to the house one day wanting to purchasing more candles instead of calling. I still use the home address for deliveres but getting a po box real soon.

I'm convinced to change to PO box.Glad this was posted because I was going to put my address on the website.The one thing with me is I live about 1 mile from a PO but my address is not that town since I am on the outskirts.I already do have a PO box for animal org there so think I will just use that one.My real mailing address is with a PO 10 miles from me.Stick with the town that is closest.

It isn't advisable to have your home address on your website. You don't want kooks showing up at your door. If you don't have a PO box, you could always list a partial address - city, state, zip only. Those who need your full address (e.g. if they are mailing you a check) can be provided with it as and when needed.

I use a PO Box for business and home addy for delivery of supplies. In my area the smallest box is $35 for 6 months. It's one of the best investments I've ever made. And mine is about a 1/2 mile away!

Guess I got a real deal. Out here in the sticks I got my PO Box for $24 annually. It's a small box but it's also a tiny post office. Only 120 boxes. They just hold the mail and hand it to you when you go to pick up your mail. Country living is great.
