Karen Ov
I used stephenson clear melt and pour soap with green tea and lemongrass fo from new york scent. The fo doesn't contain vanillan so i was surprised when the soap changed drastically . It looks so nice and lemony in the first pic but not anymore.TY
TallTayl
While you don’t “need” stabilizer, I prefer a non deep brown soap and tend to use it in those that turn deep brown. Vanillin is just one of many things that can darken a soap as it oxidizes. pro tip: don’t ever sniff the stabilizer. It is AWFUL and will assault your nose to the point of making your sniffer “off” for a while.
CandleCocoon
Wow, you are not kidding that it turned color! Totally agree that a stabilizer won't work if there isn't vanilla in the scent.
