Ken
I have been making soy jar candles. And after a few days of being poured the tops look like they are drying out. And I am getting what looks like bubbles through out. What am I doing wrong. Edited February 21, 2022 by Ken Had to add pics

TallTayl
Looks like the beginning of frosting to me. Common with soy. Soy can be very temperamental with any changes to process and fragrance changes. what soy are you using?

TallTayl
Frosting is a notorious problem in soy waxes. Soy molecules/crystals continue to change over the life of the candle and can get a dry, grainy, frosty appearance. Sometimes it happens quickly, other times it is very gradual. Once it starts it’s there forever. You can’t heat gun it out or it will frost even worse. can happen due to changes in ambient heat & humidity, incompatibility with elements in a fragrance oil, color used, etc.
