While there are many benefits to burning candles, proper candle safety is important to prevent accidents or injuries. Follow these precautionary measures when using candles: Remove all decorative packaging, as well as decorations such as artificial flowers, paper labels, etc. before lighting a candle; Ensure you keep your candles away from pets and children; Place your candles on candlesticks or trays, before lighting them: do not put them directly on a table or any other flammable surface; Do not leave lit candles unattended; The distance between two burning candles must be at least 4 inches. Do not move or hold the candle while the candle wax around the wick is soft. Store candles in a dark, cool place. CANDLE BURNING HELPFUL TIPS: Monitor the height of the wick on a burning candle: cut it regularly to a level of 0.3”. Candles that are refrigerated before use burn slower and even. To prevent candles from absorbing odors from the refrigerator, wrap them in foil or plastic. Do not leave candles in the sun or near heat sources - they may melt. Keep a safe distance from flammable objects. Do not place the candle in a draft to avoid soot. Store candles in a dark, cool place. Candles are not subject to repair and restoration. Never touch or move the candle when the wax is melted to avoid burns. Never pour hot wax down the sink to avoid clogging. Stop burning the candle if there is less than an inch of wax left in the container.
