Not sure what you are asking. A recipe, a base, or existing face cream or serum

A recipe, not a base.

I use ITDF's Elegant Cream moisturizer as a facial cream. Its simple to make and makes a lovely rich moisturizing face cream. Just go to their formulary/recipe section and look for "Elegant Cream".

I will check on that one!  Thank you!

Have you made emulsions before? They can be pretty easy 🤗

the. You can use whatever lipids (oils/fats) and emulsifiers you wish.

Yes!  If I understand what you are asking, lol.  I make my lotion from scratch, what I am looking for is one that would be a little thicker for the face, A cream, more than a lotion.  But not body butter.

Thickness can be as simple as less water. I’m sure you tried that though…
or more e-wax. Which can cause the dreaded soaping effect.

or polymers (love love love polymers)

I’ve started using gel maker EMU from Making Cosmetics and LOVE it. So easy to formulate with.

for my face, though, I went old school with pet jelly right out of the shower. Not a sexy solution but my poor abused face had neck skin are happy 😆

You can make take your lotion recipe and modify it several ways. Increase emulsifier, add hardeners, add butters.

Many sites have recipes you can compare. Wholesale supplies plus has a million recipes, Lotioncrafter…etc

If you really want to learn Swiftcraftymonkey blog.
