hmanastasi Posted August 27, 2021 Share Posted August 27, 2021 Hey y'all 👋! Heather here ... I live in San Antonio and have been learning how to make candles since May/June 2021. My bestie started making holistic body products (soaps, lotions, butters, etc) in March 2021. I wanted to get involved and she suggested I learn about candle crafting. I watched a couple videos, ordered a kit, and BAM ... I was hooked!! After months of hemorrhaging cash, fighting with wax, wicks, and FO, I am now making soy candles and hoping to go live with my Etsy shop by early October. This is not my primary job so it has been a bit of a struggle due to time. By day I am a software quality assurance engineer (fancy for 'I write code to test code') ... by night I'm a chandler! My biggest advantage is that I am currently working from home so I am able to sneak in some candle crafting time 😁 Hoping to learn more from more seasoned crafters and help those I can! 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
