Morley
I've made a fair amount of scented candles in glass containers before but recently I decided to make a yellow one with a lemon sherbert scent and something strange happened, it appears to have white crystal formations throughout the candle. It's not like frosting and I'm using paraffin wax.
LMR
Maybe your fragrance oil wasn't mixed completely with your wax?
bfroberts
It's kinda hard for me to tell, but it looks like mottling. What wax are you using?
Candybee
Is it just with that particular fragrance? If so, maybe with this one you have to heat the wax a bit higher before adding so it incorporates better. I don't think I have seen that before. From the pic it reminds me of a murky pond water, like the contents are not emulsified or blended thoroughly. Not saying you did that, but it appears they could have become separated on their own.
