Candle38
When double wicking with wooden wicks should I go one wick size down or keep it the actual size but 2?
TallTayl
Multiple wicks are a complex challenge. Every extra wick adds heat without an equal uptake of the melted wax. The effect is multiplied... like 1&1=4 instead of 1+1=2. many wicks will get hotter and hotter at an accelerated rate as they burn down the container. take your time to learn how the wooden wicks will perform and adjust down as needed to keep things safe.
