Advice on tapered beeswax candles

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have made some hand dipped tapered beeswax candle's for the first time and they look perfect. However, on close inspection i've noticed some pale yellow blemishes throughout that have put me off. Could anyone tell what they are/ what causes this to happen and some possible remedies? Thanking you in advance.

Benjie

Usually that is due to the differences of temperature between the candles going into the melted wax, and the temperature of the melted wax itself. You will need to experiment with the best temps for your particular wax.
