geekrunner
Is it a Wagner?geek
Trish
Is it a Wagner?geekNo, it's the Harbor Freight brand. I personally have gone through 4 of these in about a year. They're a great price, but not very durable/industrial, IMO, so be careful with them. I tend to drop mine! ROFLThen again, my dad bought me a Milwaukee and it died after a month too, so maybe it's just me and my own bad luck with heat guns. :rolleyes2
angiebaby
It is a Chicago Electronics.
Meridith
Mine just bit the dust - it was from Harbour Freight and lasted about a year. I still have an embossing gun, but really want another heat gun. I'll have to check that out. Thanks!
butterfly
The same heat gun that you are refering to is not a good deal. Mine went out within 3 weeks. And I didn't use it but a handful of times.
mystical_angel1219
Its a great price~ but that thing is WOW with the air! Too much air. My Wagner one is pretty good, but doesn't do well with any type of shrink wrap. My favorite was the embossing gun I bought from Joanne Fabrics- made by Darice. It lasted 3 years before I killed it. LRC06301983
I kept breaking heatguns. Was going through them like water...just burning up the elements.I swited to a glass blowers torch and a digital thermometer.
Bev
I use my Stampin' Up heat embossing gun. Works great with shrink wrap and still works great after two years.
CandleFreak
Mine lasted for a year...and I used it for more than candles....like it's true purpose of stripping our kitchen cabinets.....which was hard on it...long periods of heat!!!! I frequently dropped mine and quickly learned to wear shoes when using it! OUCH! I currently have a wagner from walmart that's doing pretty well but it only has one setting i think i will have to go pic one up (HF)...at that price i may pick up a couple!!! Trish
i think i will have to go pic one up (HF)...at that price i may pick up a couple!!!That's what I do, because I kill them all the time. For $10 a gun, it's worth to grab a few even if they do die. My dad spent $125 on a Milwaukee for me and I killed it within a month too!!
