Scented
Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great info, tips and suggestions. You've been great!! Today I bought some better fitting votive holders, placed an order with Peaks for their sampler pack and tomorrow I'll do some pouring at the lower temps as most of you suggested and will wait at least 2 wks before testing....even if it kills me:smiley2: Thanks again for your invaluable help:) Well wait at least a week lol! Just make more votives so you forget about the others for a week
joisey girl
Hi Jill, no I've never had to use the freezer for mold release, as a matter of fact I've even dropped a few votives on the floor because they slip out of the molds so easily. As far as the splitting goes, judging by my description and pictures everyone says that this is somwhat normal but I should get some tighter fitting holders which I've done and will be testing in a couple of weeks or so. So we'll see what happens.
