lisamrtr
Th is might be a silly question- but you can test burn an in scented candle pretty much as soon as it’s settled and not wait the 2 weeks, right? Just looking for confirmation so I don’t trip up about the wicks or anything. Thanks!

An awful lot happens in the first 2 weeks of a soy candle. story time... I dug into a 2 day old 3” wide status jar soy candle not long ago. The inside was damp and the texture was scoopable, like canned cake frosting in the grocery store bakery aisle. While the candle was “cooled off” it was far from being “done”. Older, well cured tins of the same wax were brittle, almost powdery. The wick needs of each were dramatically different, I do urge everyone to excavate inside your candles to learn what is happening beneath the covers. It explains a lot about why wick testing at the right time makes a difference.
