ellajoan
So our little candle company prides ourselves on having unique names that get people to pick up the jar and take a sniff. We rarely use the fo manufacturer's name for things. Hoping all of you creative folks can help come up with good names for these new favorite fos: Tonka and Oud (it's woodsy, spicy, oud, tonka, amaretto, a bit masculine) from CS Hickory and Suede (leather, cypress, sandalwood, musk, tobacco, very masculine) from BB Edited September 3, 2020 by ellajoan
GailC
@ellajoan, I am terrible at coming up with names. This is probably not what you're looking for, but I thought of Old Hickory when I read Hickory & Suede. I had to look up who was called Old Hickory. It was Andrew Jackson. because he was "as unbending as a tree, but also tough as wood." Either than or a cowboy's name. You know all rugged and masculine like the Marlboro Man. I'd pick up and smell a candle named Sam Elliott. 1
