Petrolatum

Had a question about Petrolatum. I am still experimenting with 2281 and wanted to try adding some petrolatum to it for better jar adhesion and soften the wax a bit. Should I even bother with the petrolatum and just use 4627 instead? If not, where do you buy petrolatum in lets say a 5 gallon buckets, because I have bought some from a candle store, I don't remember which, its been sitting here for a year or so, but they only sold it in small 1lb containers, that are too pricey for me if I end up using it in my formula.
