Tracy_Crafty
Hi! I'm Tracy! I'm having trouble wicking an 8 oz mason jar with Problend 600 wax. I've tried Eco 8 and 10 (both had really tall flames, deep pools w/in a couple ours, and just generally seemed overwicked), LX 16 and 18 (the LX 16 seemed the best, but I noticed some sooting around the top of the jar after about 3 hours of burning), and Premer 760 (seemed underwicked) and 765 (seemed overwicked). I'm completely lost. Any suggestions?
NightLight
Tracy, You will get some sooting because you have a parasoy blend, and also as his jar is on the narrow side it will be more obvious. Try the underwicked premier again but let it burn for three hours, then decide. It may be fine.
