hyeteck
Has anyone tried painting their jars or cups from the inside? i found some really nice glass containers but they’re clear and would love to paint them black or white from the inside. Just curious if anyone has tried this? so far the only thing I can find is using enamel which is food safe but just not sure how to go about making a smooth finish since it would be hard to paint from the inside. TallTayl
There’s glass paint that you bake to a hardy finish. Pebeo I think is the brand I was looking at. This paint is similar to what colored retail jars use.
CLVC
Bumping this to ask if anyone has a source for red or gold vessels? Ideally, I'm looking for a Libbey Rocks type of jar but in red or gold. Am I looking for a unicorn?

kandlekrazy
I always paint the outside with a chalk paint (like Annie Sloan or Junk Gypsy). Is the idea of inside painting so it won't chip easily? I can't handle the fumes of glass paints which lead me to try the chalk paints and they do stay on really well.

They are sold out of the gold and frankly, I need a store that will constantly have. They always seem to sell out of their vessels so fast. I guess that's good for them.
