Those look a bit more complicated than my limited 3d printing skills could pull off! 🤣

It's a free download. I don't want to post the link and self advertise and get banned though. So I really can't help you out for now unfortunately.

This is my old design and/or first design I ever finished.

I currently have a second design and I use that one currently. Mostly the pins are easier to work with and have grooves in them and are flatter.

1. Left - these drop down with the wick inside them.

2. Center piece is for measurements and such.

3. The pins on the right go on the four sides (obviously).

I've been working on the pins to make them easier to hold with my hands and I will be making them different sizes. Basically will fit any jar size and/or etc when I'm finished.

Hi!  Your device would work nicely for many different size of containers, but I don't think it's going to be time saving device.  I am working on 2 different designs that I thought might be real time saving device, and I would appreciate your opinion or anybody's in this forum.  I might ask you to make one for me since you have 3D talent & printer.

*This is just simple drawing.  Look at following photos for my prototype.

Slide the wick down the middle.

Glue the wick tap using glue gun.

Slide container(tin in this case) down the cylinder

*This one will only work for one size straight containers, and I have found all the necessary parts to make this one.  By the way, this is not my invention.  Mid size candle factories use this type of wick inserting device.

I have another design that I got idea from your design up there, and it needs little modification from your design.  The other design is for different types of containers in different sizes, and I feel that it's going to be much time saving device.  I should able to post the other design here by tonight or by tomorrow.

This is what I want to do with your invention.  First I would need your device in this size and little modification.  You can keep the size of hole as it is.

I can make this Part 3 using wood.  So, don't worry about this part.

I will make this one using wooden board.  So, don't worry about this one either.

I am planning to do following with your parts.

1.  Part 1 is installed thru center hole from under the wooden board and bolted down on wings.

2.  Install wooden board to a table where bottom part of this device in hang in the air.

3.  Part 2 is place thru Part 1.  Part 2 needs some kind of rubber ring so it does not fall thru.

4. Place 4 wood or plastic blocks in place of size of container.

Wick installation

1.  Place a wick in thru middle of part 2 and glue it.

2.  Place a container in place up side down.

3.  Push up Part 2 from the bottom, and wick is in place.

It's very hard for me to draw this in 3D.  I will post new pictures when I am done with assembling this contraption.
