Some of them definitely need to go in a product before they start to smell like what they are duping. I had a good Bay Rum once upon a time. I want to think it came from Fragrance Buddy. I'm not a huge fan of NG. They have a dupe of Beach (called Beachbum, I think) but overall I don't have great luck with their oils. I haven't tried it but have it in an order I'm waiting to place, hoping another FO that is currently out of stock comes back in before the sale is over.
