Jane mitchell
Morning candle makers as I am new to candle making I am trying to gather as much information I can before I start. My question is can I use mica powder to colour soya wax for my candles? 😀
TallTayl
Give it a try.  Sometimes the mica settles in the bottom of the melt pool and is fine for a few burns. sometimes it can cling to or try to climb the wick and cause a clog. You won’t know the outcome until you test them well.  Personally, for color, dyes and shimmer or sparkle dust (glass shards) made for candles would be preferable for candles. Micas in melts may be just fine.
