Gabor Gy Szabo
Hi folks. My problem is I have made a candle in enamel mug and it wouldn't stick to the side there is a small gap. I have cleaned and dried the mug before adding the soya wax do I need to put anything into the wax to make it stick to the enamel? Please let me know. Thank you Gabor
Trappeur
Sounds like you didn't use a container wax. What brand did you use? And there is nothing you can do about it now............. Trappeur
Laura C
Hi @Gabor Gy Szabo. The first thing that comes to my mind is which wax are you using? If it isn't a container wax then it may have mold release in it so that's why it's pulling away from the mug. Maybe your mug was too cold and the wax was too hot so you got shrinkage. Just some ideas.

Just some ideas. This is my first thought. Warm the mug and pour your wax cool to minimize shrinkage. You can always do a second pour to fill the gaps and keep a pretty top.
