amberhawthorn04
Does anyone know if you can reuse wax and fragrance oil that's already been melted and used and then dried to remelt and dip another bear?
Candybee
I've reused wax but only for personal use. My thought would be how much more scent life does reused wax have? Didn't know that bear dipping was still done. I thought that trend was over and done with. Am I wrong? Last I heard smaller key chain stuffies were dipped but that was years ago. amberhawthorn04
I've just done a few for gifts and let the wax dry in my presto pot and need to make one more but wasn't sure if I could just remelt and dip a bear. Not sure if they are a popular thing now or not.
Candybee
In that case I would go ahead and reheat it and use it if you want to do more bear dipping. If the people you gift the dipped bears to love them then who cares if its trendy or not. The whole point is making something handmade for them to enjoy. Right? amberhawthorn04
I figured it would be fine since I just melted the wax one time about 2 or 3 weeks ago but wasn't sure. This one is for a fundraiser to stick in a basket. Need one more item and well I already had everything so thought it would be ok to try it. Thanks for your help!!
