GoldieMN
Has anyone tried covering a pint canning jar of just-poured warm soy wax with a canning lid that has a hole in the middle of it for the wick? I was just thinking about those 3D "printed" wick centerers that someone posted and how I could use a canning lid as an alternative to hold my wicks in place while the wax is cooling. TallTayl
What an interesting thing to try!
kandlekrazy
Probably way cheaper to drill holes into the center for wicks than to buy wick holders. Never tried but why not try? Worst case, you'll have to heat gun the tops? Let us know if you attempt it.
NightLight
You can buy tops that have holes for straws
Candybee
It might work to center the wicks but the straw sized hole is big enough the wick could stray off center. Could fix the problem by anchoring wick with clothespins, toothpicks or smallish sticks, or paper or binder clips, etc.

Maybe in the "Calling all C-1" thread? GoldieMN
