TallTayl
A little “light” technical reading for the long winter months. Interesting article that helps explain some of the reasons Candles “do what they do” as far as frosting, weeping, etc., along with how other industries solve similar issues. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4486597/ candle wax, notably natural wax, is often just a hydrogenated lipid. Different additives help make the “fat” suitable for different types of candles. same holds true for soap, lotions, etc, that use lipids (fats). 1
Sebleo
Thanks for posting. I will have to read it when I’ve had more sleep! I read the first paragraph and thought, I haven’t had enough sleep to read something so technical right now!! Ha. But it looks interesting.
