I am very new, and I am reading a ton of tutorials and articles and watching videos. My niece gave me a container she would like me to refill, I believe it is Woodwick, or Ribbonwick. I would love to  do a horizontal wick, but I can't find anything even close to that, or a horizontal wick of any kind. Is there such a thing out there for candle making, or are they patented? Thank you for any responses.

Candle Cocoon has something similar to the Ribbonwick.

Wave Wick

 

The wavey wick used by Ribbonwick appears to be patented.

Flexible Wick

(I found the mention of silk and alpaca hair as a wicking material interesting. I guess that makes them potentially non-vegan.)

Thanks for the reminder, I remember seeing this wick in the past. It looks awesome, I've been wanting to try it out.
