sharig Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Hi ya'll, I haven't used in many years, but was wanting to get back into making the Starburst Palm Wax Pillars like Candlescience used to sell, the IGI R2778A. I know they discontinued it many years ago due to environmental issues, but was unsure if any other suppliers were selling, and if anyone was still using this? Has there been any issues? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks again, Shari Quote
Sebleo Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 IGI no longer makes starburst. They only make feather and glass glow now. Lonestar sells both. Quote
sharig Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 thanks so much! I kind of figured as I couldn't find it anywhere...it is a shame, as that pattern was so pretty. but thank you for taking the time to answer my question Shari Quote
Candybee Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Candlewic carries a crystal pillar palm wax that looks similar to the starburst IGI used to carry. http://www.candlewic.com/store/product.aspx?q=c19,p760&title=Crystallizing-Votive%2fPillar-Palm-Wax---Palm-2 Quote
Crafty1_AJ Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I used to love that starburst wax. The finished candles were so gorgeous! I miss it! Quote
sharig Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 I saw that from Candlewic, but I've never ordered from them before. Any issues from them? And yes, I absolutely loved the starburst pattern; it was so pretty. Not too much of a fan of the feathering pattern. Thanks so much! I really appreciate all the input Quote
Jcandleattic Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Crystal Palm is the palm wax that I just got gifted 100lbs of. I can't wait to start working with it. (and yes, will be sad when it's gone. but I also got gifted 100lbs of Feather Palm also! ) Quote
